Wortham Welfare Trust

The Trustees would like residents of Wortham to be aware of our existence. We may be able to offer help and would welcome enquiries.

The Trust has its roots in the 17th Century, the funds were originally derived from the sale of land in the parish. It was formed by combining 2 charities, that of Thomas Church and Charles Goodrich.

The funds have been invested, yielding money that can be used to provide "relief for persons resident in the Parish who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress" in accordance with the constitution of the combined charities.

If anyone feels they may be in need of assistance or know of someone else who may be, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
