Wortham Bowls Club

 

We are delighted to report that on and off the green we had one of our best seasons on record

In the Stowmarket League, the Club won the Wednesday Triples League and The Presidents Cup to top off a very enjoyable season

Our Upper Waveney League campaign was a ‘personal best’ for the Club finishing third in Division 1 and runners up in The Upper Waveney Presidents Cup

Our Bury and District League team had a very enjoyable season finishing runners up in the Knockout Cup and a respectable mid table position in the League

Off the green, early season work to install additional external storage and the decoration of the clubhouse improved facilities for Club members and we welcomed new bowlers to the club throughout the season.

Club Finals Day was held on Sunday, 24 September 2023 with a full tournament and singles competitions completed on the day.
