Wortham Open Gardens -  16th & 17th June, 2018

Around 230 visitors came to Wortham to enjoy the gardens, some open for the first time.  Despite numerous other local events and also Father’s Day celebrations it didn’t hamper the enthusiasm of the visitors, many of whom tried to get around all 22 gardens. The event raised just over £2,500 towards the upkeep of Wortham Village Hall. As well as income from ticket sales, refreshments including lunches, tea and cakes, plant sales (generously donated by Howard Nurseries) and the raffle helped towards the total.

The village will open its gardens again in June 2021.
